Can I customize my condo before construction is complete?
When you purchase early, you can work with our skilled interior decorator to select finishes such as flooring, cabinetry, countertops, light fixtures, and paint colours.

Can common rooms be customized during the build process?
We work with a designer during construction to create the initial look and functionality. Once the building is complete, the condo board can make changes based on the owners’ preferences.
What amenities will be completed before I move in?
Amenities such as the social room, common areas, and parkade are typically completed by occupancy.
What safety features are installed during construction?
We integrate fire suppression systems, reinforced concrete floors, secure access points, and building-wide safety measures.
How does Span West manage quality control during the build?

Can I tour the site while my unit is being built?
For safety reasons, tours are limited and must be scheduled in advance with your sales representative. In addition, we will ask you to come to site during construction to confirm certain items (like electrical placements) and to see the quality of the build as it progresses.
Will I get to meet with an interior decorator to choose finishes?
Early buyers will work one-on-one with our interior decorator to customize their home.
Can I make design changes during construction?
Within agreed-upon timelines. Once certain stages are complete, some changes may no longer be possible.
What happens if there are construction delays?
If delays occur due to weather, supply chain issues, or other factors, we’ll notify you promptly and provide an updated timeline.
How often will I get updates on construction progress?
We send out at minimum a monthly update because we believe in open communication. Some projects receive updates twice a month, and if things are especially busy, we may send them weekly. We don’t spam you — we have policies in place to ensure we send accurate, relevant information.
Who do I contact for building-related questions after possession?
The contact information for post-possession support will be listed in your possession package.
Will I receive a package with important information about my new home?
On possession day, you’ll receive a comprehensive package with building information, contact numbers, warranty details, and community guidelines.
When should I arrange insurance for my new home?
Your home insurance should start on your possession date. Details of any applicable building insurance policies will be provided before closing.
Who holds the building’s main insurance policy, and what does it cover?
The building’s master policy is held by the ownership group or condo corporation. It typically covers the structure and shared areas, while your personal policy covers your unit contents and liability.
Will I receive official proof of occupancy?
Yes — an occupancy confirmation from the municipality will be included in your possession documents.
Can I do a walkthrough on my possession day if I can’t attend the scheduled pre-possession walkthrough?
Yes, we can arrange a walkthrough on possession day to ensure everything is as expected.
When can I start living in my new home?
You may move in and stay overnight as soon as possession is granted.
How do I receive my keys, access codes, and garage door openers?
This information will be included in your possession package, which you will receive on your move-in day.
How will I know the total amount owing at possession?
Your lawyer will receive and review the Statement of Adjustments, which details all costs and credits related to your purchase.
When is the final payment for my home due?
The balance of funds is due on your possession date. Your lawyer will provide you with a Statement of Adjustments, outlining the total amount payable, including any agreed changes or upgrades.
Are there special accessible units available?

How do I access guest parking?

How is storage handled, and where are storage units located?
Each suite includes one or two storage rooms accessible from the balcony. This layout adds convenience and privacy.
