August Construction Update: North Twenty Place

August is a wrap! Our teams have been hard at work, making outstanding progress despite a few challenges along the way.

The structural steel columns and beams have been successfully installed, marking a significant step in the framework of the building. The parkade walls have also been installed, and we are now preparing to pour the parkade floor slab. Additionally, Sask Power has installed permanent power, ensuring that the site is fully energized for the ongoing work! 

Installing the hollowcore on the first level presented some challenges due to heavy rainfall the night before, which left the site muddy and unsuitable for the trailers to drive on. However, we were prepared with swamp mats on hand, and after some effort in laying them out, we successfully completed the task.

We are still working closely with our homebuyers on their final selections, as we want to ensure they are completely comfortable with their choices. The deadline was August 30th, but we are allowing some flexibility to accommodate everyone's preferences.

Looking ahead to September, our focus will be on installing the 2nd-floor walls, setting the hollowcore for the 3rd floor, and pouring the parkade floor slab. The project continues to move forward, overcoming challenges and staying on track.
