December Construction Update: North Twenty Place

Happy Holidays! We hope your festive season was merry and bright, and we’re wishing you an early Happy New Year! By this time next year, we imagine your Social Room will be buzzing with parties, family, and new friends!

North Twenty Place is progressing steadily. We truly appreciate your patience this month, especially in taking Josh’s calls and working with our team to navigate the site delays. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to help.

The building is 80% wrapped—just the fourth floor remains. The parkade is now fully heated thanks to the natural gas hookup, which is keeping things moving even in these frosty conditions.

Work on the 6-car garage continues to roll along—roof framing is complete, and shingles were fully installed on December 30. Over in the parkade, the mechanical team is installing piping and rough-ins in the ceiling, the walls have been insulated, and the garage door is officially in place. The electrical room is drywalled, and electricians are busy getting things wired up!

Window and patio door prep is underway, including waterproof flashing around the openings. Ice removal has slowed this process a bit, but we’re aiming to have it all ready by the end of January.

For January, the roof installation is the top priority. Once that’s complete, the interior work will kick into high gear. Despite the weather challenges, the team is collaborating closely to make the most of every opportunity to keep the project moving forward.
